Lament ist eine Gothic Rock Band aus der Schweiz. Alain Kaiser gründete die Band als ein Solo Projekt. Als er aber im Jahr 2006 auf Ted White traf, wurde das erste mal von der realisierung einer Band gesprochen. Im Jahre 2007 wurde dies Realität und Lament wurde ein Bandprojekt. Nach anfänglichen Problemen mit der Suche nach Musikern und öfteren Unterbrüchen des musikalischen Werdegangs hat es Lament im Jahr 2011 endlich geschafft, die Band komplett zusammenzustellen.
Die Veröffentlichung der offiziellen Cd wird auf Ende des Jahres geplant. Es wird eine limitierte Auflage von 300 Stück geben.
Die Ersten Konzerte werden im Jahr 2012 stattfinden.
Lament kann jetzt schon auf eine treue und starke Fan Gemeinde zählen, welche sie in den letzten Jahren tatkräftig unterstützt hat.

Lament is a Gothic Rock band from Switzerland. It all started as a solo project by Alain Kaiser. Then in 2006, Alain met Ted White and initial thoughts of forming a band were discussed. In 2007, the thoughts became reality and the project Lament began in earnest. After initial problems with the search for musicians and several interruptions, Lament was finally formed in 2011 with a complete assemble of musicians.
The first publication of an offical CD is scheduled for the end of the year and will be limited to 300 copies. The first concerts will occur in 2012. Nonetheless, Lament can already count on a strong and loyal following that have supported them over the last few years.
