Lemon Cut combines melancholic new wave with driving alternative rock. Atmospheric synths, energetic guitars, pulsating bass lines and straight e-drums create a sound somewhere between The Cure, Depeche Mode and Radiohead.
The four musicians from northern Switzerland – Patrick Grob (vocals, bass), Benedikt Schumacher (drums), Alex Stirnemann (guitar) and Adrian Kressebuch (synths) – founded the band in 2018 and have since played numerous concerts in Aargau, including at Openair Stoppelfäld (Wohlen), Dreiraumkultur Plus (Wohlen) and Rille Kultur Showcase in Würenlingen. Most recently, they impressed audiences at Kulturwerk Bleichi in Wohlen and the Rock’n’Farm Festival in Berikon with an intense and compelling live performance.
Following their first mini EP (2020), the band will release their second EP in September 2026. Lemon Cut collaborates with Simon Huber (Leech, Soft Loft) and Jonas Arnet (composition) on their productions.
