The band Lethal Technology was formed in July 2017 under the impetus of Cédric Ferret (guitar) in
Collombey, in the Swiss canton of Valais, who was soon joined by Julien Dulex (bass). The two
musicians began composing and later welcomed Jade Hänni (growl), Sofiane Thoulon (lyrical vocals)
and Xavier Boscher (lead guitar). This first line-up recorded and released the album Mechanical Era
at the end of 2022.
In 2024, after a complete line-up overhaul, Lethal Technology signed to WormeHoleDeath Records for
an international release. The band, with its new musicians, is preparing to take part in various
concerts and festivals between 2024 and 2025. They are also working on new songs for a new
album.
Lethal Technology offers a metal that wants to be at the crossroads of several genres of which
industrialmetal, death metal and finally progressive metal constitute the backbone, this in a will to
experiment an alchemy between various musical currents and not to be confined to a single style.
The main influences come from Devin Townsend, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Dying Fetus and
Dream Theater, but also from video game music and 80's bands like Genesis.
