Lhanzom Lhasam is a Tibetan-Swiss singer-songwriter. Her music impresses with its dreamy melodies, calm and melancholic mood and her clear and touching voice. Lhanzom Lhasam started writing diaries and poems at an early age and eventually discovered her passion for songwriting along the way. In her teenage years she was inspired by Taylor Swift, and later by folk and indie artists such as Ben Howard and Daughter. Currently, she takes her cues from contemporary songwriters like Lizzy McAlpine, Holly Humberstone and Maisie Peters. She herself classifies her music in the pop/folk genre, placing special emphasis on honesty and authenticity in her songwriting. She has already released three singles "Young and beautiful", "Nowhere" and "Late night decision" with her former band. She has been going solo since 2019 and has been working with producer Niklaus Gehring on her first EP,.
Three singles from this EP, "DREAM," "IN THE DAWN," and "LOVESONG," have already been released on all streaming platforms this year. It's worth noting that the song "DREAM" received excitement from the music editors at SRF 3, leading to daily airplay on their radio program. Her debut EP was released on September 15, 2023, and shortly thereafter, in October 2023, she was awarded the title of "SRF 3 Best Talent," fulfilling a big dream for the newcomer.
