Lhanzom Lhasam is a Tibetan-Swiss singer-songwriter. Her music is characterized by dreamy melodies, a calm and melancholic atmosphere, and her clear, touching voice. She discovered her passion for songwriting at an early age through writing diaries. Initially inspired by Taylor Swift, she later found influence in folk and indie artists such as Ben Howard and Daughter. Today, she draws inspiration from contemporary songwriters like Lizzy McAlpine, Gracie Abrams, and Maisie Peters.
Her music blends singer-songwriter and pop, with a strong focus on honesty and authenticity in her songwriting. After releasing three singles with her former band, she has been performing as a solo artist since 2019 and worked with producer Niklaus Gehring on her first EP. The first single, “DREAM,” made it directly into the daily rotation on Swiss national radio station SRF 3. Her debut EP was released on September 15, 2023, and in October 2023 she was awarded the title “SRF 3 Best Talent.”
In 2023 to 2025, Lhanzom played numerous shows. Personal highlights included band performances at Barfussbar Zurich and H2U Openair in Uster, as well as solo performances at the Gurtenfestival, Migros Hiking Sounds, and the Winterthur Music Festival Weeks (Winterthurer Musikfestwochen). Over the past two years, she has been working intensively on her new EP and new music will be coming very soon.
