Formed in 2020, Licking Rainbows is an energetic rock project, blending powerful riffs and soaring vocal harmonies. After two EPs ("burp" and "Rainbows Avenue"), the band has refined its musical identity, blending garage rock and psychedelic rock, while evolving towards more ambitious sounds.
Their energy on stage, fueled by a strong sense of complicity, has enabled them to make a name for themselves through numerous concerts and festivals in Switzerland, France and Luxembourg. Through over sixty dates to their credit between 2021 and 2025, including renowned festivals (Montreux Jazz Festival, Rock'R'Sauvage, Rock Am Wind) and some of Switzerland's top clubs (Amalgame, Gaswerk, Le Romandie), Licking Rainbows has shared the stage with such well-known groups as Dirty Sound Magnet, Mother's Cake, Feldup and Lalalar, to name but a few.
After establishing themselves on the cultural scene in Romandie, the band signed to the Foggy Notion label in 2025 and began exporting with their new album "Smile".
