Lolā is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Lausanne, Switzerland. Her indie-soft-folk sound, infused with lo-fi textures, is carried by a delicate, crystalline voice.
She learned the piano as a child before shifting her focus on singing and teaching herself guitar at the age of 19. After releasing two debut singles in quick succession (Rewind, selected for RTS /SRF RADAR in Jan. 2024., and Perks of Living), she wrote and recorded an album, set to drop soon.
The songs living on it are an exploration of the emotions that lodge beneath the plexus and sometimes make the attic floor creak. While navigating through her intimate world, you may want to close your eyes and let yourself be swept away by a melancholy current, where soft vocal melodies converse with a bewitched, unexpected guitar. In this space, time seems to pause, offering a moment to breathe amidst life’s relentless pace.
