Loquita is an artist who loves and lives life with passion.
Born in Switzerland (Zurich) and Spanish roots (Asturias), she enchants her fans with her talent
and positive vibes as a singer, rapper and dancer.
Even as a child, she showed great talent for dance and singing. At 14, she began writing her
own lyrics and enriching her songs with beautiful melodies.
In the 1990s, she was heavily influenced by hip-hop, R&B, soul, reggae, funk, Latin music,
classical music, and techno. When reggaeton emerged, she immediately fell in love with the
rhythms of these new Latin American sounds, which she also incorporates into her music.
Loquita has recorded several singles with various artists and toured Europe with the group
Solo Dos. They were Open Act for Orishas, Omega, Frank Reyes, Héctor Acosta "El Torito,"
and others. She has already performed on the stages of major festivals, such as the Latino
Americando (Milan, Italy), the Jazz Festival (Montreux, Switzerland), the Antilliaanse Feesten
(Belgium), the Caliente Festival (Zurich, Switzerland), etc.
As a single mother of a daughter, her financial resources were limited, making it difficult to
fund her own music career. Loquita had decided to focus on her daughter and her job. But
her love for music, singing, and performing is her true calling. Now, as her own producer, she
has fulfilled her dream and is back with her own music.
„My music is meant to bring joy. It‘s never too late to realize your dreams and visions“.
