Immersed in the alternative culture of Geneva, L'Osmose boldly nuances the 70s psychedelia with a touch of futuristic groove since 2020.
Founded on a friendship forged from a young age, the Geneva sextet L'Osmose has built their unbreakable bond through their shared love for music. Growing up in the vibrant alternative and cultural milieu of Geneva, they drew inspiration from this creative effervescence to shape their own unique sound.
Blending autotune, vocoder, percussion, electric guitars, and analog synthesisers, their music reflects their incessant experimentation and desire to discover new sonic avenues.
Since their debut, L’Osmose has captivated audiences with their performances both in Switzerland and internationally. Their memorable concerts, particularly in iconic Geneva venues such as Bongo Joe Records, L’Usine, and Montreux Jazz Festival Residency, as well as their participation at Antigel festival (where they shared the stage with renowned artists like Chilla, Vieux Farka Touré, Yin Yin, and Arp Frique), have earned them swift recognition in the Geneva music scene.
In the spring of 2024, the band released their debut album under the label Stone Pixels Records, recorded with the valuable help of the Geneva-based band L'Éclair. Welcomed with enthusiasm, the album quickly attracted critical attention and was broadcast on radios such as KCRW, FIP and Couleur 3.
On stage as well as on record, L’Osmose exudes a raw, sincere, and enchanting energy that will definitely captivate you.
