Lucie Göckel was born in Marseille into a family with multiple origins: Corsican, Gypsy, Sephardic Jewish and Tunisian. All these influences have forged her independence and open-mindedness. From the age of eight, she created shows with her parents and two sisters, mixing music, dance, theater and song. Today, the artist retains the freedom and liveliness of this acrobatic spirit.
Cellist, singer and composer, Lucie Göckel creates and participates in projects that question the boundaries of artistic genres. Her life is punctuated by the different projects that drive her. She is currently completing a master's degree in jazz performance/composition, after obtaining a master's degree in classical cello pedagogy in Lausanne.
With her new musical project entitled "Prologue", Lucie Göckel intends to give voice to all her influences, whether baroque or jazz, to everything that has animated her since childhood. By composing and arranging her own songs, she opens a new page in her life as an artist.
