Born in 1996 in Switzerland, Madreszelva trained in singing at the School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Sion, while continuing her general education. After a few stage performances, she began composing electronic music using software—a way for her to explore her ideas and emotions more freely.
In 2015, she recorded a first demo (Mysterious) at California Studio in Geneva with producer Naiche Barbaglia. Although the track was not commercially released, this step marked the beginning of a more personal and consistent creative journey.
She then launched her YouTube channel, where she shares covers in several languages. Her rendition of Skeletons by DiHaj caught the attention of online viewers and sparked her desire to go further.
In 2018, she collaborated with Thibaud Theurillat (Tape One Studio) to finalize We’re So Unique, a pop track followed by The Caves in 2019, both composed by the 3nity Brothers (The Voice France, Season 2).
This was followed by a period of retreat, influenced by profound personal experiences. But Madreszelva returned with a renewed perspective on creation.
In 2022, she covered Horehronie, a song by Slovak poet Kamil Peteraj, as part of a shoot at the RLC studios in Sion. Her version won the 18th edition of the international online contest, the Eurovision Cover Song Contest.
In 2023, she ventured into symphonic rock with an original project entitled Story of History, accompanied by a music video filmed in an abandoned colony in Italy. This new direction allowed her to explore another facet of her artistic sensibility.
As a songwriter, performer, and producer of her own music, Madreszelva continues to move forward at her own pace—with consistency, delicacy, fragility, and a spirit of experimentation.
