Solo project. Symphonic orchestration with a bit of a blast beat!
After the split of the last band in which I played drums (Blind Slavery) in May 2018, the desire to launch myself into a solo project became pressing. The desire to try my hand at composing symphonic arrangements naturally led to the creation of the Malfeüz concept: metal style drums over symphonic arrangements.
I imposed only one constraint for the whole project: to compose, arrange, edit, mix, record and master myself using free and open source software and sound banks. For everything else, I let my inspiration of the moment run free. The result is certainly amateurish, but the pleasure to lead my project alone is total.
In February 2021, I presented for the first time the project to the public with a live performance on Youtube (pandemic obliges). Since the middle of 2022, the project is ready to perform on a real stage.
