manic.rodeo is a global and networked music project. The ongoing democratisation and networking in the music industry makes music production much easier. Thanks to a sophisticated online-orientated workflow, we can work with artists regardless of their location.
A few years ago, Marc Bühler was co-producer and touring keyboardist for the band sharf. The former Swiss band sharf was voted "Best Talents of the month" by the largest Swiss radio station SRF3. In addition to regular radio plays, sharf played at many well-known events and venues throughout Switzerland, such as the Blue Balls Festival in Lucerne, the Hive Club, the legendary Dachkantine in Zurich, the Zürifest, Kiff, Krempel, Merker, Badenfahrt and Dynamo.
After a long break, Marc Bühler decided to become active again. Many songs from a then still unreleased second album form the basis and characterise the style of manic.rodeo's debut EP.

- MizAgata, singer from England/Italy, who has sung songs by Sting, Faithless, Kula Shaker and has worked with producers such as Matt Butler (Paul McCartney) and Tommaso Colliva (Muse).
- Brent Paschke, US guitarist who has worked with big names in the music industry such as Jerry Stringer, Pharell Williams, N.E.R.D, Beck and Britney Spears.
- Dan Konopka, US drummer of the band OK GO, who has won Grammy Awards with his band and has been nominated for more.
- Francois Michaud Wild Horse Studio, French producer and mixing engineer who works for Philipp Zdar (Cassius, Phoenix) and even Tchad Blake (The Black Keys), among others.
- Stephan Berthoud, the man for the catchy guitar licks and co-producer of the ex-band sharf
manic.rodeo's songs are playful, with powerful spherical synthesiser sounds, distinctive guitar sounds, groovy electro rhythms and crisp vocals. The songs are reminiscent of artists such as Billie Eilish, Björk, Chairlift or Morcheeba. A touch of lo-fi, distinctive hooks and the interplay of the voices give the songs a warm and organic outfit. With abstract lyrics, the outstanding singer MizAgata creates fascinating stories that harmonise perfectly with the songs.
