MAR.DI – music that feels like a day by the sea. With their vintage sunshine pop, the four boys invite listeners to drift away — to places, emotions, longings, and memories. For MAR.DI themselves, it feels like a calm day at the beach: a warm breeze on your skin, sunshine overhead, and an ice cream in your hand — ideally a coco limón combo.
But postcard-perfect idylls are not the band’s only theme. The group from Zurich and Graubünden is also capable of going deeper, heavier, and less colorful at times. After all, a day by the sea can mean many things — true to their motto: anything goes, nothing is a must.
Following their first EP *White Lies* (released under the name “Chasing Anna”), along with numerous live performances, radio airplay (SRF3, RadioSwissPop, RTR, Munot, TOP, etc.), a live session (4TNG), and a TV appearance (TV Südostschweiz), the Zurich-based band is now returning with their second EP, *Coco Limón*.
Armed with five new songs, plenty of energy, and an insane passion for music, the band is kicking off the summer season in full force. The new EP is set for release at the end of September 2026 and will be introduced through a series of singles beforehand. The already released tracks have been generating strong momentum: alongside radio plays and interviews, the band won the Lakelive Stage Contest, securing a slot at the Lakelive Openair in Biel on August 6.
