Melyz is a singer songwriter, performer and topliner, born in Geneva.
Her style: Dark Pop.
A crossover genre between bright Pop and moody Electro vibes, Melyz was created beginning of 2018, preceding the release of her first single "Dancefloor" in March 2018.
She first got recognition through the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 when she represented Switzerland, under her real name- Mélanie René, with one of her own song "Time to Shine".
After taking part in many Eurovision-related events throughout Europe for more than a year, Melyz felt the need to focus on a more authentic and personal music project, and developed an Electro Pop vibe.
Her inspirations are artists such as ZHU, Banks or even Dua Lipa (to name but a few).
Her debut EP "Don't Tell On Us", released beginning of 2019, has had positive feedbacks and over 100k streams on Spotify.
Melyz is now back with a new single "Bad Together", released early April. The track is resolutely and unapologetically dark electro pop, emphasising her transition into womanhood. "Bad Together" is available on all streaming and download platforms.
