Il ne fait aucun doute que le groupe veut se faire connaître du monde entier grâce à sa musique pleine de puissance et de joie communicative. Mercadonegro est connu des amateurs de concerts de musique latine puisqu'il a accompagné, lors de leurs tournées européennes, quelques pointures telles que Celia Cruz, Alfredo de la Fé, Jose Alberto « El Canario », Richie Ray, Frankie Morales ainsi que Jimmy Bosch. Créé par Cesar Correa (pianiste et directeur musical), Armando Miranda (leader vocal, auteur-compositeur) et Rodrigo Rodriguez (timbales, auteur-compositeur), le groupe excelle par sa maitrise de la musique afro-caribéenne et cela s'entend sur scène, notamment avec des arrangements de cuivre aux attaques imparables mais aussi sur ce cd, très bien produit avec un son de qualité. Dès le 1er morceau, Mercadonegro donne le ton de l'album : de la salsa explosive, swinguante à souhait et ultra-dansante, qui ravira les amateurs de salsa de diverses influences.
