Lucerne-based musician Meret Siebenhaar creates music that is both intimate and experimental. Using prepared piano, synthesizer, and voice, she spans a range from free improvisation and minimalism to songs in the spirit of The Necks, Grouper, or Talk Talk. The result is a sonic landscape between radical openness and subtle beauty, revealing that fragility and strength are two sides of the same coin. Her music is both challenging and comforting: a safe space in which listeners can follow sounds and let their own thoughts and feelings flow.
With her debut album «Treibgut» (2024), Siebenhaar introduced the poetic world of her prepared piano playing. The songs on her upcoming album «Goodbye Lullabies» (2026) explore themes of grief, loss, and survival, rooted in personal reflections yet resonating with universal questions. Together with Klara Germanier (Solong, guitar/bass) and Nora Vetter (viola), she creates a soundscape that touches deeply and lingers long after.
