Biography

I Miasma nascono nel 2004 in uno scantinato a Banco (Ticino) quando Andy (batteria) e Viz (chitarra) decidono di suonare insieme. Dopo qualche giorno si unisce a loro Curzio (chitarra) e agli inizi del 2005 arriva anche Fabio (basso).Dopo vari mesi senza un cantante si aggrega Alex.Il 13 maggio 2006 si esibiscono per la prima volta ad Altdorf nel Canton Uri insieme ad altri due gruppi Death Metal Svizzeri,da allora hanno partecipato a molti concerti in tutta la Svizzera e a varie manifestazioni importanti.Per citarne solo un paio: .. -UndergrindfreakFest a Zugo con Viral Load e Devourment .. -Mountains of Death a Muotathal con Immolation, Severe Torture e Dying Fetus .. -HellvetiaDay a Sursee con Carnal Decay ..Miasma was born in 2004 as an idea of Andy (battery) and Viz (guitar) when they decides to play together. After several months Curzio joins the band as the 2nd guitar playerand a few month later Fabio became their new bassplayer. Long time lafter writing lots of songs and a lot of rehearsals they got in touch with Alex, who was about to leave Cerberos and liked the sick riffs and drumming of Miasma and decided to join those sickos in ferbuary 2006. Three month later they played their first concert ever, not in their hometown Lugano but in Altdorf, canton Uri. From then on they started to write new material and getting more and more an brutal. Looks like people liked their stuff because they started to play a lot of concerts around switzerland, such as the holy „Mountains of Death" the killer „Undergrind Freak Fest" and the „Hellvetia Day" made from fans for fans. In 2006 they recorded a their first EP „Human Bloody Mary" with song such as „Mr. Sniper" , „Dr. Gore", „Rotten Love", „Torture Bind Kill" and „Crispy Kids". When they got back from Mountains of Death, Fabio decided to leave Miasma. Only a few months and try outs later they found in Nimai a new fourstringrapist but they had to make another hard decision and Curzio had to leave the band. In that time they recorded another EP with two songs „Kill Fuck Die" and „Stabbing the Emo to Death". Even if they had only one guitar they still kicked as and played some awesome gigs, but 6 month later due differences with Nimai they decided to go further without him. Back again without bassplayer. 2008, no bassplayer but an album ready to be recorded so they did all by themselve in their little studio, hosted by Tato from Redrum Records. Thanks to him they had the chance to ave money, record anytime and be concetrated on finding a bass and guitarplayer. March 2009 Luca joined Miasma as the new guitarplayer played his first concert with us at the Vans Music Night in Lugano. And few month later Daniel as the man on the fourstring has joined the band. Now, one year later, we had to make some changes in our line up and fired Luca due personal differences which didn't worked out for the rest us. Thank's for being part of Miasma and good luck. We're working on new material and are ready to come back on stage braking YOUR PA, drinking YOUR Beer and fucking YOUR Girlfriend, because we are proud to announce our 2nd guitarplayer Francisco, so be aware……… ..
