Mixed Coin is an alternative rock duo from Arbon, Switzerland, composed of blues aficionado Patrick Pintarelli [of PINTSIZE] and blues debutant Simon Aeschbacher [of Halma Bravo, The Alankomaats and Boat Nation]. Their debut album “Terminus Exodus” was released on March 31, 2011. Patrick is primarily a 12-bar blues, riff-based, Southern rock kind of guy. He uses a well-trodden musical genre but manages to write highly personal songs. By contrast Simon has always been interested in the new, the undiscovered and the adventurous. He’s now decided to throw caution to the wind and try his hand at something more traditional. Patrick and Simon are also very close friends. Both have played together before but their attempts never amounted to much in the past. The fact that they've buried their musical differences for this project is a living testimony to their longstanding friendship. All songs originally written by Patrick Pintarelli and adapted, arranged and performed by Simon Aeschbacher.
