MOTORSLUG are a rock band from Lucerne, Switzerland, pursuing their own uncompromising sound since 2008. Rooted in metal, punk, grunge, and stoner rock, they combine raw power with musical craftsmanship – direct, heavy, and unapologetic.
MOTORSLUG’s music is the result of long-term collaboration between four musicians with diversemusical backgrounds. Rather than emphasizing differences, the band focuses on bringing together the strongest elements each member contributes.
Over time, this approach has shaped more than justa shared sound: MOTORSLUG have grown into a tightly bonded unit – a band of brothers.
As a Sedel band, MOTORSLUG are part of the legacy of Lucerne’s legendary Musikzentrum
Sedel, founded in the early 1980s. This heritage continues to define their attitude today:
independent, resolute, and committed.
MOTORSLUG were featured alongside other influential Sedel bands in the documentary Rock’n’Roll Kingdom by Thomas Horat (2012).
On stage, MOTORSLUG are known for intensity, drive, and presence. Performing in clubs across Switzerland, they have built a reputation as a powerful and gripping live act, where energy and tight musicianship go hand in hand.
