Myall-Lake is one of the most consistent rock bands in Switzerland, one that’s been playing together since 1983. During the course of the past years and their long band career, the five musicians have been able to look back upon many memorable highlights, including numerous concerts on stages big and small, at home and abroad. The trademarks of Myall-Lake are its homemade concise and dynamic rock songs, which are conveyed by an expressive lead vocal, insane guitars and intense grooves. The musicians consider themselves to be highly authentic, well-greased rock machines. They’ve survived innumerous trendy music currents and still play their vision of hard rock and in an unjaded and passionate way.
Yet the band is more than satisfied with “Reborn”, and was actually able to find their perfect “partner in crime”, Stefan Schroff, a great guitar player and musician himself (Sandee, Felskinn). With his help, the whole creation process was brought to a new and inspired level, without anyone having to renounce the “fun-factor”.The goal was to get intensive, authentic, no-frills hard rock onto tape.The band is convinced they’ve managed to capture these special moments on tape. No compromises were made throughout the entire production, including the last steps before pressing the CD: Stefan Schroff and Patrick von Gunten couldn’t resist having the final recording mastered at the renowned Sterling Sound Studio, New York, USA, by none other than the congenial and competent George Marino, who has also refined the sound recordings of AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Coldplay, and more.
