We are NevBorn, a progressive metal band (influences: Circa Survive, The Ocean, Tesseract, Agent Fresco…) from French-speaking Switzerland. Inspired by a wide range of musical worlds, we take a cinematic and narrative approach to our music, much like a soundtrack.
Our debut album, "Five Horizons" (2015), was well received by critics and encouraged us to push our creative process even further.
In 2017, we took a bold step with "Daídalos", an EP featuring a single track nearly 20 minutes long. This project redefined our approach to songwriting: our songs are no longer just tracks, but chapters of a long story.
In 2023, we embarked on our most ambitious project yet: "Alkaios", a trilogy of albums recounting the twelve labors of Heracles. Each song represents a vinyl side and lasts an average of 15 minutes. The first chapter, "Alkaios · Part I · The Eagle", received highly positive feedback. The second installment, "Alkaios · Part II · The Peacock", will be released in March 2025.
