Nina Joory is a Brazilian and Swiss singer, songwriter and producer. Born to Brazilian parents in Switzerland, she grew up in a very international environment in school. She graduated from Berklee in May 2018. She is currently living in Rio de Janeiro, working on her personal projects as well as writing for other artists, many of them being big names. Her life goal has always been to merge Brazil with the international pop wave.
Her first significant work in the industry was co-writing the English version of Anitta's phenomenal hit "Bang" after being contacted by Warner Music Brasil. Shortly after, Nina worked closely with Grammy Latino nominees producers Sérgio Santos and Ruxell (known for works with Anitta, Pabllo Vittar, IZA and Maite Perroni) to create her first EP and two music videos, "Original Love" and "Tanto Faz" [click on the icons on the left], which is where she started to experiment merging brazilian sounds like singing with Brazilian Funk in Pop music while singing in English, and giving Brazilian Pop/Hip-Hop a very American vibe, sung in Portuguese. She has also released "Longing For You" in collaboration with DJ DaKid through Sony Music Brasil. Recently, Nina also released revolutionary Reggaeton "Egoista" in Portuguese and Spanish (which visits pop and trap elements) alongside Latin singer Valentina Lopez.
Nina then started expanding her songwriting horizons and writing for other artists. Multilingual, she did not hesitate to add Spanish to her repertoire (amongst English, French and Portuguese) in order to break into the Latin Market.
