Nyfa is a Swiss female duo – music between fragile poetry and raw, unfiltered reality. Two voices, cello and guitar sounds. As experienced songwriters, they create their own world through warm acoustic tones and subtle synthesizer textures.

Alexandra Ukonu gained extensive live experience across Europe with her former band Serafyn. Her collaboration with producer Pola Roy (Wir Sind Helden) has had a lasting influence on her artistic development.

Sofie Ellenbroek, singer and multi-instrumentalist, has been writing and producing her own songs for over 15 years. Her most recent EP, A Woman’s Body, was released in 2018.

As a duo, Nyfa turns towards unconventional themes such as motherhood, female identity and emotional vulnerability. Their songs are sometimes dreamy, sometimes honest and critical – Moving through a world of reverie, Nyfa’s music dances between indie pop and folk pop, constantly reshaping itself and redefining its own sound.
