In 2023, Oliver Maibach took the plunge into the music world, performing under the stage name "Dr. Maibach"—inspired by his title as a doctor of law. He made an impressive debut as a Schlager singer with the duet "Tanz mit dem Leben" alongside Marie Vell (4th place at the "Stauferkrone"). This was followed by tracks such as "Wer wagt, gewinnt" and his solo debut with "Italienische Sehnsucht". With the hits "Magie" (released October 18, 2024), "Die Welt ist nicht genug" (released January 31, 2025), "Flammen der Liebe" (released July 4, 2025), and "Letzte Weihnacht" (released November 21, 2025), he demonstrated his great talent as an interpreter and songwriter. Following the streaming success of "Wunder gescheh'n" (released April 17, 2026), his next coup, "Hundertprozentig", arrives on July 31, 2026. Dr. Maibach lives near Bern, where, alongside his musical career, he works as a lawyer and university lecturer. His versatility and success in multiple fields make him an extraordinary personality in the Schlager scene. As the grandnephew of actress Liselotte Pulver, a passion for the stage seems to run in his blood.
