Carmen is a multifaceted artist, passionate about music since childhood. She began her musical journey at the age of 8 with 15 years of accordion and music theory, exploring a wide range of styles from film scores to Argentine tango. These experiences shaped her love for the stage, which she discovered early on at village festivals, weddings, and private events.
At 12, Carmen had her first solo singing experience on stage during school shows in Moudon. Later, she honed her skills through private lessons with professional singer Amélie Daniel, developing her vocal technique and discovering the piano. She also sang for several years in gospel choirs, joined a singing and dance group, and trained in improvisational theater, further strengthening her stage presence and creativity.
In 2021, she fulfilled one of her dreams by creating Baume O Cœur, a project born from the desire to share genuine emotions through music. Joined by Julie on piano in 2022, the duo has since performed over 50 concerts in various venues—intimate halls, bars, restaurants, weddings, music festivals, retirement homes, and more—touching audiences with French pop covers and original compositions. Carmen also manages the project, handling concert bookings, social media, and communication.
2024 was a turning point: she took part in the international contest The Voice of the Sea, representing Switzerland before more than 2,000 people and winning 2nd place in the finals. That same year, she released her first two singles, Ma Place and Immersion, broadcast on several local radios, and joined the troupe Samyaqa, where she regularly plays leading roles in family musicals combining singing and acting.
In 2025, Carmen began a new collaboration with singer-guitarist L’Ôtre, with a first concert at Basebar in July. She is also preparing her first official music video, Prison de Verre, set for release on September 6, as well as an EP of four original songs to be released on October 2, recorded at Studio 52.9 in Lausanne with three musicians. Her career is taking on a new dimension, blending authenticity with modernity.
In 2026, she will reach another milestone by performing for the first time at a festival, the Passion Vinyle Festival, alongside L’Ôtre.
A sensitive and generous artist, Carmen is now emerging as a unique voice in French pop. Through her expressive tone and intimate lyrics, she conveys deep emotions and invites audiences to share moments of sincerity, light, and connection.
