Since 2001, the 8 musicians of Mexican, Brazilian, Swiss and Malagasy origin of the Patatas Chipas Club,
rage upon Swiss festivals and clubs, by distillating their funk groove jazz, tinged with hip-hop and electro.
After the success of their first Cd "Patasmatazz vol.1", autoproduced and sold at more than 1000 copies
through their gigs, and the live DVD recorded and produced by the national Swiss television, the Patatas
Chipas Club comes back to us with a new CD entitled : "Patasmatazz vol.2".
Recorded and mixed in Geneva, and then mastered in Montreal, this authentic funkadelic bomb shouldn't
leave indifferent this genre's aficionados. On some of the titles, the band has offered themselves the
collaboration of the duo of rappers "Oni/Epik". This profitable collaboration has given birth to and explosive
alchemy in the studio that it'll be possible to witness during the "Summer Patatour 2006" who already counts
m o r e t h a t 2 0 d a t e s i n S w i t z e r l a n d a n d i n n e i g h b o u r i n g F r a n c e .
