We love to perform, love to play, live for it and always can’t wait for the next concert. We wish we could do it everyday. We play Banjo, Synthisizer, Accordion, Bass, Drums, Laptop, Classical, Acoustic and E Guitars. One could describe what we do as a alternative Pop /Folk/Rock/Indie/Fantasy style.

The internationally manned band Penguins by Choice is an artist collective around Brendan Walsh (alias Josephine Steady), which engages the audiences with a mix of dance styles and entertaining performance. Most band members have obtained degrees in music and play multiple instruments. Penguins by Choice intertwines elements of Folk, Rock, Classical, Punk and Electro into its typical Phobobic genre. The song texts are never limited to stereotype topics and just when one thinks they are listening to a normal pop band the musical surprises occur. In addition to the conventional band instruments, they play on Banjo, Bouzouki, Sax, Bass Clarinet and Plastic sheet. The band also enjoys having guest performers of strings and horns in different formations. A Penguins by Choice performance is designed to make one dance and keep
peoples ears on their toes.
