Pierre Kerkossa
Born on March 19, 1984, near the Dutch-German border in Drenthe, Pierre Kerkossa developed a passion for electronic music at an early age. In 1992, he began recording mixtapes and compiling playlists of Dance Classics from Dutch radio stations.
His interest in electronic music grew in 1995, influenced by artists such as Marusha, Mark Oh, and Sven Väth. In 1998, he created his first Techno-Trance mixtapes, inspired by German radio stations like 1LIVE. As a teenager, he regularly bought Techno CDs and was captivated by the Love Parade anthem "Music is The Key," which motivated him to pursue a career as a DJ or music producer.
At 16, Pierre started attending raves and fully embraced the electronic music scene. In 2009, after obtaining his driver’s license, he began experimenting with music production using programs like Music-2000 and Music-3000 on PlayStation. By 2010, he was using Magix Music Maker and Techno 4 Reloaded to create his first Techno beats.
After taking a break from music production, Pierre returned to the scene in 2018, encouraged by DJ Dione’s partner, E-Noid aka SRB. He purchased his first DJ equipment (DENON DJ MCX 8000) and performed as an artist under the Triple X Label: X Records. In 2019, he set up his first studio and started experimenting with FL Studio 20.
In 2020, Pierre launched PK HARD TECHNO Records and released his debut track “Freedom For Everyone,” marking the start of his career as a Techno producer. In 2021, he began developing his own independent radio station, and in 2022, he founded Radio Definitiv Techno, a platform for promoting Hardtechno and related genres.
