Music has accompanied the Bernese DJ and producer Pierre-Jean Baudraz, better known as PJAY, all his life. Already as a child he loved to listen to the CD's of his parents, with artists* like Michael Jackson, Jean-Jaques Goldmann, Erykah Baduh and Latin music in the selection. With his given child guitar he tried to replay the songs, recorded it with a small cassette radio and analyzed the recordings. During the school years he discovered the hip-hop culture, electronic music as well as reggae, which became more and more important. PJAY lived out his musical diversity first as a DJ, performing in many bars and clubs in the Bernese Oberland region between 2006 and 2010. Thanks to several years of musical lessons he was able to perfect his skills, which helped him a lot in music production. In 2010 he joined the band FRISKIT as a keyboard player, where he is still active today.
PJAY released his first single "With U" in 2021, followed by the singles "Horizont" and "Perlä" in 2022. Although the three songs are in a different style segment, PJAY remains true to his musical habits and preferences.
In a healthy mix of self-confidence, modesty and a great hunger for new challenges, PJAY is now producing the hits of tomorrow, which are to be released in the form of singles this year and next year, mainly in collaboration with Swiss artists.
