Music can’t be just another hobby like collecting stamps, gardening or playing in the regional senior soccer team, Simon must have thought when he started working on the debut, two years ago. Let’s take the long, hard and rocky way! So he quit his fulltime Job, took his cousin Tobias on board and started to compose and rear range. His so called Polyversity Fläsh and the MenschStudio in Wartau were the perfect playground for swinging, singing and building castles of sand. World musician and sound engineer Fizze helped giving birth to the preproduction, and added some extra-special-Instrument-toppings with great feeling. In Kurt Ebelhäuser (Blackmail, the donots, scumbucket…) they found the perfect producer for the professional approach. The original sing/songwriter appeal is still very alive in most songs, but a good portion homogenous session-feeling has also been added by the band and the various specialguests.
please!, at first glance, seems to be POP. The name, the colour, the Bambi and the sheet shot take you back to the artificial simplicity of the whole pop art period. Even the first tender chords with the fragile voice on top, don’t let you guess what heights and depths will expect you on this turbulent prog-pop debut. Fasten your seatbelt, because this Bambi can fly!
And before this musical journey brings it back safely to her mother, there are many adventurous detours to bypass. It will lead you to psychedelic landscapes where sausages are hanging from trees, to harmonic little islands where sirens not only sing, and into endless icy deserts where subversive transcending melodies from magical flutes float above majestic drums. Let’s hope that our dear Bambi doesn’t get caught in a guitar avalanche! Straight from the alps and into your souls…
Until now it’s a good kept secret. But we don’t want the people to whisper. Shout it out loud, tell a friend, sing or scream at one of our concerts! Because in the near future please! is going to play gigs, add friends, make videos and rock’n roll until the doctor comes… …too late.
This is please! and they’re from Fläsh! Please, Enjoy please!
