POLTERGEIST is the brand new brainchild of Swiss musician Christian Schwarz, the mastermind behind acts such as Zodiac Project and Tracelements. On this occasion he is joined by drummer and radio producer Marco Kohler along with Renato Cassis, former publisher of the Swiss music magazine “Re.set” and vintage technology freak.
The music of Schwarz, Kohler & Cassis is based on a visionary balance between synth backgrounds, electronic riffs, effected voices and traditional instrumentation. The result is a huge, modern and epic sound, combining rock and drum'n'bass but also allowing for dilated experimental and psychedelic sonic atmospheres.
Moving from the driving electronic brit-rock sound of the first single Andromeda, to the powerful distorted drum'n'bass energy of Crystal Shot , and on to the Tibetan-like, almost mantric Happiness Is Not Easy, POLTERGEIST gives us an exciting taste of things to come.
In 2011 POLTERGEIST will be recording their debut album.
