A few years back singer and guitarist Quirill heard celtic music for the first time and rediscovered his passion for songwriting. To kickstart his career as a performer he made an EP ( Quirill: Stones and Waves ) but before it really started lockdown hit. During that he produced and recorded an Album (Journey) and some singles at home. As soon as travel was possible again, he connected with local musicians from Edinburgh and Inverness in Scotland and became part of the folk and trad scene there. Back at home in Switzerland he founded the trad Band Tain with friends and the Duo bluejay.
Quirill is a unique voice, always on the quest to put words and melody to authentic emotions. Longing, loss, love and despair find a home in stories about live, dream and death.
