Biographie
This record is the proud successor of R. Daneel Olivaw‘s first longplayer Deimos/Phobos. The Swiss made 180g-vinyl will give you 30 minutes of gut-wrenching entertainment in 2 songs: Malagón Amor and Hikikomori, each on one side of the fast 45-rpm-LP. Malagón Amor will take you from a mantra of identity and self-denial, via a dark search through industrial techno gutters on to the terminal collapse of your world.
Hikikomori is a glimpse of total isolation. Self talk, odd rhythms and a dark lonely bass elegy tell a story of belonging nowhere.
Born in a cottage in the Swiss mountains, recorded in the wooden techno studio of Musigbüro Toggenburg, mixed by old friend Giuliano Sulzberger and finally mastered in Australia by Joe Carra (King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard).
The racing sticker inspired artwork is an organic collaboration between RDO and Nando von Arb.
