Disappeared in the flames of hell after letting on fire the stages of Paléo, MontreuxJazz, La Bâtie, LabelSuisse +++ in 2017, Régis, like a blond Hades with an eagle eye, isolated himself in hot spaces and sordid places. Pupils of embers and a burning voice. Toiling and sweating to achieve his ends. Digging the furrows of his second album, forging alone on the anvil, the iron of his flaming compositions.
After a second album, at the antipodes of the first, Régis, from the freezing angel became an arsonist. Diabolical Régis, still and always wandering in seedy bars that have become legendary. He leaves the pose and defies the sun as an evil genius. Snub to the chilling aspect of his first album, the second is a romantic hara-kiri.
Everything is still burning, and a third opus, co-produced by magician Christophe Calpini (Alain Bashung, Rodolphe Burger) and Lad Agabekov (Grand Corps Malade-Cadeus studios), scheduled during whole 2023 and 2024, will continue to blow on the embers.
