Ridah Kadabra is a Swiss artist of Italian origin, born in Nyon. He grew up in France but has always moved back and forth between France and Switzerland. Passionate about French rap and reggae, he began writing lyrics and recording his own songs at the age of 13. Later, he moved to Toronto, where he studied audio engineering at the Recording Arts Canada College; he also worked in recording studios and collaborated with local artists. He released a few songs in English but quickly realized that the French language offered him greater freedom of expression in his writing. He therefore decided to return to Switzerland to focus on his artistic career and opened a creative space called “Fronteras” alongside Javvier (beatmaker, videographer), TeddyFromTheBorder (rapper), and Mzeboi (beatmaker). He collaborates, co-produces, writes, records, and mixes for other artists from France as well as from the French and Swiss Romandy regions (Taïro, Danitsa, ClintonMadeThatShit, Aya Waska, Mea, TeddyFromTheBorder, etc.). Now supported by the label Hemp Higher Productions (Cali P, Randy Valentine, Daddy Mory, Jahnaton, etc.), it is finally time for Ridah Kadabra to reveal to the world his unique artistic universe and his sound blending rap, reggae, R’n’B and French pop.
