Ross Hutchison returns to Methods of Mellow with ‘I Just’, the first single from Ross’s forthcoming EP ‘Better Than Oblivion”.

Icy-cool yet richly warm, ‘I Just’ is intimate, raw pop music at its finest. With elements of DIY soul, 80s funk and post-rock, it glides along sun-drenched, glistening and unrushed; showcasing Ross’s incredible voice and songwriting talent.

Moving from London to the Swiss-vineyards of Grandvaux in 2020, Ross writes, produces and records all of his music from his home studio. Having worked with the likes of Wilma Archer, Saint Saviour and Royce Wood Junior, as well as being one half of the duo Burhou, this release marks Ross’s first solo EP.

The full EP, ‘Better Than Oblivion’ is due for release later next month on Methods of Mellow, in collaboration with Irascible Music.
