Sabine Hänni has been passionate about singing since her childhood. At the age of 14, she wrote her first original pop songs. Two years later, she founded the band "Schutzraum 8," with which she explored genres such as pop, rock, and funk. With over 30 performances in 3 years, she gained her first concert experiences with the 11-member blues-funk mini big band formation "The Big Murphy Band." After that came the acid jazz-funk-pop-rock group "Braintrees," which mainly performed original compositions. From 2003 to 2023, she was the frontwoman of the jazz band "Just Jazz." Since August 2023, Sabine has been singing as lead and background vocalist for the Tower of Power tribute band "Tower of Soul" (www.towerofsoul.ch) and since March 2026 with the formation Soul2Funk (www.soul2funk.com). In addition to her band activities, she writes her own pop songs, which she releases. Singing is a matter close to Sabine's heart and pure passion.
