I grew up in a trilingual (English, German, Arabic) and inter-/multicultural household in Southsinai in Egypt. I`ve been living in Switzerland since 2012. music has been a part of my life since forever. already as a child I used to sing, dance and play instruments infront of an audience. I learned how to play the flute and the violin, when I was a kid. as I became older I taught myself how to play the guitar and through my sister I learned how to play the piano. I had my first experiences with singwriting and creating my own music with 14. and since then I never stopped. I`m 25 now. in 2019 I went back to Egypt for 2 months and because I didn`t have an instrument with me to compose, I began to create beats on Garageband. creating music and especially songwriting to me is a way of self-therapie. there was a time, when I didn`t want to release my music. my songs are intimate, vulnerable and as personal as a paragraph out of my journal. I write phrases, sing melodies, which I myself need to hear, that help me, that let me process, reflect and most importantly feel. somewhen I realised, that I`m not on my own with my emotions. that my music can help not just myself but so many more. that it might even be selfish to keep music, which is something that is meant to be shared, to myself. now I`m on my way to do exactly that. share my music.
