'EVERYTHING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT FOREVER' - That's the title of Savri's upcoming EP, set to release on April 26th. In a time marked by crises, it's indeed a bold statement. Led by Severin Bruhin, the band offers a platform to express emotions, navigate life's highs and lows through music, and foster connection through improvisation. Defying easy genre categorization, Savri seamlessly blends elements of jazz, hip-hop, funk, and soul.
For his second EP, Severin Bruhin collaborates with Ajit Gill on drums, and Theo Howarth (Alijaa) on keys, both from the UK band Vertaal. They're joined by Swiss musicians Rich Harpur on guitar, Marina Iten on saxophone, and Nicola Bütler on trumpet. Both single releases, 'Sundrops' and 'Holunder,' have garnered support from various radio stations such as DSR (UK), Radio Swiss Jazz (CH), and Deutschlandfunk Kultur (DE).
