Where to? Investigate all directions.
SEWN was a solo project, a way of processing a separation, a singularization, a search. Now in a group of four, SEWN is broader, more courageous and shows itself.
Where do we go from here, when things don't go on as they used to? SEWN's songs discover what's left and where to go from here. Why it sometimes feels sticky, too much but never enough, seems left over and anyway always a bit too late. Started too late, ended too late. Lili Vanilly described her disappointments and wounds with words, but that was not enough. Only in the form of lyrics, with beat and melody, sung in time and space, the thoughts appear to be tangible and communicable, universally touchable. And now, as more and more positive insights find their way into her songs, they also serve as a reminder of what has been overcome and what is desired to be more of.
SEWN can play concerts as a band as well as solo.
