Simon Clerc is a musician from Fribourg who has been active since 2021. At the crossroads of indie rock, pop rock, and garage rock, he has developed a musical universe where raw energy intertwines with a strong sense of melodic detail.
Between 2022 and 2023, he performed on several major stages in French-speaking Switzerland, including Paléo Festival, Le Nouveau Monde, Ebullition, Le Bleu Lézard, and Fri-Son. His single Stuck in a Loop, released in 2022, marked a notable first milestone, followed in 2023 by the release of the EP of the same name. This project led to his selection for the Swiss Live Talents in 2022, confirming his presence on the emerging Swiss music scene.
In 2024, he released MIND Vision, a project he composed, arranged, and performed entirely on his own, exploring new sonic and production approaches.
In 2025, he traveled to Leeds with his band to record his first album alongside Gordon Raphael, a producer notably known for his work with The Strokes. The record was designed to be played live: most of the tracks were recorded under real live conditions, with only a few additions made in post-production. The goal of this album is clear: to move crowds and capture the intensity of a live performance on record, whether in clubs or on festival stages.
His new album will be released in Autumn 2026, called "Sounds Like Closure".
