Under his new artist name SIMON SANDMAN (formerly known as SANDMAN), the Swiss singer and songwriter returns with a fresh sound and a powerful message. He’s the voice behind timeless hits like “Dancing on the Beach”, “Holiday”, “Right Here Right Now”, and “Señorita” – songs that shaped an era of feel-good pop.
His breakthrough came in 1997 with “Dancing on the Beach”, followed by more than 1,000 live performances across Switzerland, Germany, Spain, and the USA. One of his most unforgettable moments: performing in front of over 120,000 fans in Seville (ES).
After a creative break, SIMON SANDMAN returned to the studio with Chris Endres and David Schlindwein, crafting new material that blends heartfelt lyrics with uplifting melodies. He also lent his distinctive voice to DJ Antoine’s Top 10 hit “Stop”, which reached No. 4 in the Swiss charts and won a Swiss Music Award.
In 2024, he reached the Top 50 of over 65,000 contestants on Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS).
In June 2025, he electrified the stage at the Aarberg Festival (CH) with an unforgettable performance that reignited his connection with the audience.
Now, on November 18, 2025, SIMON SANDMAN releases his new single “Wir sind die Stimmen” – a bold, deeply human anthem calling for unity and hope in challenging times.
