Spooky Spoon was founded in 2011 for a show at school and the musicians later decided to go on with the band.
The name, which was originally a joke, appeared as the members were looking at a list of english words in alphabetical order. They finally decided to keep it and Loris drew the first logo.
There were many changes concerning the members, but the current formation is: Aurélie Turrian (voice, piano), Quentin Monnard (guitar), Bryan Oberson (guitar, voice), Loris Francey (drums) and Axel Huotari (bass).
They have been composing their own songs since summer 2012. Their songs have many different influences, such as Green Day, Nirvana, Sum 41 and many more.
Spooky Spoon tries as hard as it can to make the world hear its sound, full of ravaging electric guitar sounds, aggressive drums rhythms and critical as well as romantic lyrics.
