The Festa In Valle is an open air music festival born in the late 90's for a restrict group of close friends but that today's still appreciated by the most nostalgic.
In 2011, this young group of friends decided to create the association FIV with the aim to make this event more solid and continuous, which joins people who loves live music and gives opportunity to local and international bands to perform in this suggestive place which is the valley of Monte Carasso / Sementina.
The Festa In Valle is usually held every year in mid of July, by starting since early morning with local live music and an offered lunch to the participants, who get ready for the by now famous tournament of Ping Pong for amateurs that every year attracts hundreds of fans of the red-black racket. The tournament brings people towards the evening where around 06:30 pm the first band scheduled is going to open the line-up of four shows going on until 03.00 am.
The association currently has a committee of 8 elements who manage the entire event organization, it’s a big job but it pays for itself in a lot of satisfaction.
After several years of efforts and several successes, the Festa In Valle has become today a recognized music festival that takes place in a magnificent place surrounded by unspoiled nature in a relaxed and friendly environment for music lovers, sharing passion and joy with al the participants and nevertheless giving space to local bands.
