Mx3.ch - Tous Ecrans Competition

The International Geneva-based Film Festival, Tous Ecrans, in collaboration with Mx3, launches this innovative competition to bring filmmakers and musicians closer.
To all directors and musicians
If you are a director and you like the idea of turning a song into pictures, this contest is made for you! Thanks to Mx3.ch and the artists on the platform, the entire music catalog of the website is at your disposal.
The idea is simple: If you are inspired by a song on this platform, please let us know, and if the author agrees, you'll receive the file for free.
The clips can be shot with a photo camera or a smartphone, the only thing that matters is that they tell a story!
The winner will receive a high exposure in the medias (press, radio, Internet, etc.), his/her work will be presented during the Festival Tous Ecrans and he/she will win a weekend in Berlin for 4 - all inclusive!
The video must be based on music that is available on Mx3 and it must tell a story!
You can upload your video onto the user profiles (USER / FAN) on Mx3.ch (it is free and set up in 2 minutes) where you will find all the technical information.
But beware, submission deadline is October 14... Good luck to you all and surprise us!
2. Regulation:
This contest is open to all Swiss directors. There is no age limit, only a territorial restriction.
The music video must tell a story. Videos without narration will automatically be excluded.
All formats are accepted. The music video can be shot with camera, camcorder or smartphone. However, a minimum size of 320x240px is required for a maximum size of 100 MB.
The musicians make their songs available to the filmmakers. They are informed of a possible selection of one of their titles and their agreement is required (LET US KNOW THE SONG OF YOUR CHOICE). If they agree, the file will be sent to the competitors for free.
Clips in competition are likely to be shown in future presentations or be uploaded onto internet platforms. In a promotional context, the user allows the video and the associated music to be used by mx3.ch as well as broadcasters partners of the mxlab ag. It allows partners and customers to use material in the context of the event Label Suisse 2012 as well as on SSR TV-channels, websites or radios. Editing of the video content for communicational means by customers or partners of mx3 is also allowed.
The director shall abstain from including content that:
- According to commonly accepted standards or according to mxlab ag and Festival TOUS ECRANS is judged obscene, offensive, defamatory, offensive, pornographic, harassing, racist, xenophobic or condemned for any other reason
- Could harm the image mxlab ag, mx3.ch or Festival TOUS ECRANS;
- advertises for third party companies, for sexual services, SMS or MMS services, drugs, alcohol or tobacco;
Entries submitted after the deadline are automatically rejected.
The final vote is made by the public and a jury of experts. Two prizes are awarded.
