Stefan Leemann has been active for many years as a moderator at Radio Stadfilter and as a DJ. His DJ career began in the 1990s at a mobile disco. Initially performing under the name "DJ Stefan," his stage name was changed to "DJ Stevie L." at the suggestion of the manager at the time—a name he continues to use today.
In the summer of 2024, during a trip to Ibiza, the idea of producing his own music was born. Under the project name "Aether Drifties," Stefan releases music that intentionally stands apart from his DJ style. He employs an innovative, hybrid approach: while the creative concepts and lyrical ideas originate with him, he utilizes AI technology as a creative partner. The AI assists him in shaping the lyrics into a rhythmic format and generating the musical soundscapes. As a producer, Stefan then precisely assembles these elements to ensure that each song aligns perfectly with his personal vision.
