Steve Nomad is a true phenomenon in the world of music, an artist who shatters every stereotype. An unconventional artist who defies categorisation, as unexpected as a meeting between Florent Pagny and MC Solaar.
Steve Nomad is, first and foremost, a master of words. His lyrics are expressive, often tender, sometimes sharp, always precise and compelling. With his pen, he portrays the many facets of human emotion, weaves stories of life like a griot, or speaks out against injustice and inequality.
It is on stage that Steve Nomad truly comes into his own, unleashing his natural charisma, rooted in his authenticity and his remarkable ability to connect and engage with his audience.
“D'où je viens”
Originally hoped for in 2015, Steve Nomad's third album was finally released in 2026. With “D'où je viens”, Steve Nomad brings to a close the trilogy that began with “Un monde à refaire” (2010) and “Gens de rien” (2013).
Having turned his gaze towards the world in his first album and towards the people who shape it in his second, Steve Nomad now continues his journey inwards. After illusions and disillusionment, triumphs and setbacks, what remains are the small victories and a return to his roots in his native Valais, Switzerland.
This third album also marks his artistic maturity, reflected in the compositions, in a voice that has gained a new sense of serenity, and in the cleaner, more refined recordings and mixes produced at Studio Polyphone Music.
With this new album, Steve Nomad has finally freed himself from the dilemma of choosing between singing and rap, fully embracing the distinctive style that defines him.
