Biography

Behind svmthoX (seəmθʌks) is the young Swiss artist Sam Thompson-Young. One time tomboy, one time lady, she knows exactly what she wants. svmthoX raps with the instancy of Nicki Minaj and sings in the style of Lauryn Hill. She describes her music as „(T)Rap Soul“.

The multilinguist, who speaks English, French, Lingala, Portuguese and Swiss-German, expresses her message in a radically honest, funny and empathic way. She knows the whole spectrum of feelings and what difficult times mean. With resounding energy and a lot of self-confidence, she gets to the heart of what goes wrong in the world and confronts those who are responsible for it in a subtle and sometimes painfully honest way.
