Higher Ground is a collaboration between Boom Dice and Amanda Rakel. Bryan Wilson (AKA Boom Dice) is a grammy-nominated musician and has worked with the likes of Sofi Tukker, Disclosure and Stormzy (just to name a few). Amanda Rakel is a Danish singer-songwriter with a flair for pop/edm.
Amanda Rakel wrote the lyrics along with two other female artists, Harriet Murdoch and Parisa Shahmir.
This song was created during the time of COVID and was completed in a truly socially distanced style, in line with the times. Bryan was in Toronto/London, Amanda started the project in Copenhagen before re-locating to Zug, Switzerland, and Hariet was in the UK while Parisa was in Mexico.
