In this sound collage, the first influences from my early years on the bass are clearly recognizable: Stanley Clarke and Victor Wooten.
These two exceptional bassists taught me to push the limits of bass playing and to use techniques such as artificial harmonics or "slap fingerstyle" by striking the strings with the fingers harder than usual in the second mentioned method in order to produce a more "metallic" sound.
All of the processed pictures for the video are from my private archive, which are largely related to my attic apartment, which always reaches quite hot temperatures during the summer, but otherwise gave me the best experiences in my life. Thank you, dear apartment...
